Home of Anagarika Walisinghe Harischandra

From Negombo to Divulapitiya Road. M. 2 miles old house. It is a 200 year old building built according to a Dutch plan. Walasinghe Harischandra, who made a great contribution to Buddhism, was born here on July 6, 1876. His furniture, diary and many other antiquities are kept here. A museum was established here on December 13, 1996 and the building was later handed over to the Department of Culture. It currently runs a cultural center.
