The ship is about to sink off the coast of Colombo and has about 25 containers of nitric acid in it.

She speculates that the release of nitric acid into the sea could wipe out all life in the area, and even melt the coral reefs.

After confirming the presence of the chemical in the ship, Sri Lankan authorities allowed the ship to enter the port of Colombo, although India and Qatar prevented the ship from entering their territorial waters.
