Protesters set fire to the Libyan parliament building
A group of protesters have set fire to the parliament building in the city of Tobruk, Libya.
Foreign media reports that the burning was done during a protest against the continuous electricity cuts and the uncontrolled rise in the prices of essential goods and the political crisis.
Currently, the protests are also taking place in Tripoli, the capital of Libya, and the protesters are demanding that elections be held immediately.
Foreign media reports further state that Abdul Hamid Dbeiba, the head of the Interim United Government, has supported these protests.
